WARCRAFT - The Live Action Movie

It was still very fresh in my mind since my gaming years some 13 years ago playing the PC game called Warcraft III - Reign of Chaos. It was my first time playing a strategy adventure game and it was really very good. The characters and story was very well put together and the pacing of the game was extremely fun too. 

I still recalled some years ago that movies based on games are sure failure considering that the budget allocation which most studios willing to fund were really mediocre. There were live action movies based on games namely Super Mario, Street Fighter, Tekken, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia and countless others. It is quite surprising that today we start to see the resurgence of movies based on games lining up again to be release. 

Warcraft is one of them and from what we gather and saw, it could be a potential box office hit if the story are done correctly. Most of the times a movie sucks were due to the bad story and character development, not whether or not it was based on games or novels. Warcraft is in some ways what we called as partial animated CGI feast. We saw blue in Avatar and you can bet we see green in Warcraft. 

I am also happy to hear that even the upcoming movie based on the game, Assassins Creed is having some A-List actors in it. Well, you can't get any wrong with Michael Fassbender on board, right?
